Ratings spoke for itself. I walked in this restaurant with high expectations and, expectations were not only met but exceeded! Excellent food, flavors were bursting in your mouth with generous portion sizes. We had chicken shawarma homus, Iraqi kebob and Shish tawok! Small place like hole in the wall, great atmosphere and you could see the chefs preparing your food through the glass. Service was top notch! This is my new found favorite place now. 😍

Super Yummy! Had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh and full of flavor, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Especially Dina was so phenomenal! Definitely a place worth coming back to and highly recommended. The kebbah is beyond beyond yummy! I go especially for it! They are boycotting and they use equivalent products! Salute!!

I have visited Aljazeera Supermarkets a few times before and my go to for shawarma wrap, falafel Iraqi wrap and their chicken saj meal. They have never disappoint. Best hidden spot in Mississauga. I want to give attention to Dalya for providing amazing customer service she is very attentive with any questions and welcoming. A must try food!

The experience was okay overall. I noticed that some recent reviews mentioned smaller portions, and I agree. The chicken, beef skewers are smaller compared to similar restaurants in the area, and for the price, it felt a bit expensive for what you receive, almost $ 100 is a bit high. The restaurant itself is nicely set up, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean food. I also liked that they have a butcher shop in the back, which looks well stocked and appealing. After waiting for around 45 min only area that could be improved is food-handling practices. Staff members were wearing gloves, which is good for hygiene, but I observed the same gloves being used to handle food, grab order papers, move pita bread bags, and handle other items like plastic bins. Using the same gloves for multiple tasks reduces the purpose of wearing them, and changing gloves more frequently would improve overall hygiene.

This is a one-stop shop for all your grocery shopping and also enjoying a delicious meal. They offer a great variety of grocery options like non-perishable food (jam, canned food, pasta, tomato paste, spices, etc.) and fresh fruits and vegetables. Their butcher section offers great variety of fresh and halal beef, lamb and chicken. They also offer frozen and prepackaged vegetables and meat products. You can also find freshly baked bread and kitchen accessories to buy. Their restaurant offers great variety of Iraqi kebabs and shawarma. You can enjoy watching your food being prepared in front you and either dine in or they’ll pack it properly for takeout. We ordered “Aljazeera BBQ Mix Platter” and “Pepperoni Pizza”. All the meat and chicken for kebabs are marinated in-house and hummus and garlic sauce are made in-house. The kebabs were really fresh and perfectly seasoned. Beef and chicken cubes were really tender. We loved all the spices used for them. Pizza was made in-house front of us and we enjoyed watching it come to life and eating it later. Lol The staff are very friendly and attentive and there’s ample parking spots available in front of the store.
